PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The EPA’s New England Regional Laboratory (NERL) has been an industry leader in its Construction Waste Management program since its completion in 2001. From conception, the project was charged to, “make use of the best commercially-available materials and technologies to minimize consumption of energy and resources and maximize use of natural, recycled and non-toxic materials.” The facility also makes use of 100% green power through solar power for lighting and generation and purchase of wind power for all other electricity needs.
